GRANN Values & Mission Statement
GRANN is a community-led initiative dedicated to centering the perspectives, rights, and futures of Autistic and Neurodivergent people. We exist to challenge the status quo - to defy neuronormativity, dismantle oppressive systems, and reclaim space in a world not built with us in mind.
Founded on the principles of belonging, authenticity, and self-determination, GRANN is more than an organisation - we are a radical collective committed to building a future where Autistic and Neurodivergent lives are not just accommodated, but valued, respected, and empowered.
Through grassroots organising, peer support, public campaigns, research, and policy advocacy, we work to bridge the gaps in support systems and advocate for neuro-affirming change across education, healthcare, employment, and community life. We believe true inclusion starts by centering lived experience and challenging the ableism embedded in our institutions and culture.
Whether you're Autistic, Neurodivergent, an ally, or a curious visitor - welcome. There is space for you here. This is a home for connection, for unlearning, for fierce advocacy, and for dreaming a more just world into being.
Together, we are building futures on our own terms.
