BEE - Neurodivergent Buzz, pollination in the breeze. Where Neurodivergent lived experience leads, expressive arts connect, and psychosocial support is shaped through community, access, and shared care.

As a psychosocial recovery consultant and coach, bee doesn’t “fix” people, because people are not problems to be solved. Instead, bee walks alongside individuals as they tune into their rhythm, build self-trust, and approach ways of living that feel authentically theirs.

Their work is grounded in neuro-affirming, trauma-informed practice, where difference is not only accepted but celebrated. bee supports people to explore their sensory worlds, communication styles, and emotional landscapes, not through clinical lenses, but through curiosity, compassion, co-creation, and play & expressive arts where possible.

Every session, project, or conversation with bee feels less like formal intervention and more like another brush stroke on the canvas, where self-understanding, community, and creativity are nurtured and allowed to find life of their own in gentle, sustainable ways. Whether guiding individual journeys, consulting with organisations, or creating new pathways for authentic being, bee brings an energy that says:

“You already hold your wisdom. I’m just here to help you hear it.”

Through this work, bee helps make visible what’s too often unseen, the quiet brilliance, strength, and potential of Autistic and otherwise Neurodivergent minds and hearts.

bee’s approach is shaped by lived experience of multiply Neurodivergent and Queer identity, chronic illness, and an intersectional blend of academic knowledge and professional training. bee's practice is grounded in deep relational work, lived realities, formal training, and a nuanced understanding of how systems impact people’s lives.

With a Bachelor of Criminal Justice, Diploma in Business Leadership & Management, and a Diploma in Project Management, bee’s background bridges systems-level thinking with people-centred, rights-based care.

They also hold a Certificate III in Business Entrepreneurship, a Certificate III in Business, and a Certificate III in Community Services - adding layers of practical development to their trauma-informed work supporting Autistic, Neurodivergent, and multiply marginalised communities.

bee is currently deepening their practice through postgraduate study in both a Master of Rehabilitation Counselling, a Master of Human Services, and a Graduate Diploma of Teaching (Primary), reflecting their commitment to person-centred, justice-informed perspectives and care across the lifespan.

Over more than 20 years spanning youth work, residential care, disability support, family and social service systems, bee views the world through a creative lens, integrating play and expressive arts in their work when possible.

Whether you're navigating systems, seeking support, or just want to share space with someone who listens to understand, bee is here to meet you where you are - with compassion, clarity, and curiosity.

In Solidarity,

bee austin

NDIS Support Through BEE – Neurodivergent Buzz

At BEE - Neurodivergent Buzz, we don’t see support as something “delivered” to you.
We see it as something built with you, in ways that respect your autonomy, your identity, and your way of moving through the world.

We offer NDIS-aligned support that centres lived experience, relational practice, and genuine capacity-building, not just ticking boxes, but creating meaningful, sustainability in everyday life.

What We Support

Our work focuses on walking alongside you to:

Build skills for daily living in ways that actually fit your life

Strengthen confidence, autonomy, and self-determination

Navigate systems (including the NDIS) without losing yourself in the process

Engage with community on your terms, not through forced “participation,” but through authentic community

We recognise that independence looks different for everyone.
For us, it’s not about meeting a standard, it’s about defining what works for you.

Who This Is For

We support:

NDIS participants with approved plans (Capacity Building and/or Core Supports)

Neurodivergent individuals and people with psychosocial disability

People seeking support that moves beyond clinical models into relational, person-led practice

If you’ve ever felt like traditional services didn’t quite “get it”, you’re not alone. That’s often where we begin.

How It Works

We work within your NDIS plan, but we don’t let the plan define you.

Support may sit within:

Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living
Building practical, emotional, and cognitive skills for navigating everyday life

Core Supports – Social and Community Participation
Supporting connection, access, and engagement - in ways that feel safe and meaningful

Our approach is flexible, reflective, and responsive - because real life isn’t linear, and neither is support.

A Note on the NDIS

The NDIS can be complex, and at times, overwhelming.

While we can support you to understand and use your plan, decisions around eligibility, funding, and plan structures sit with the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

For direct enquiries, you can contact them on 1800 800 110 or visit their website: National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

What Makes BEE Different

We are not here to “fix” you.
We are here to listen, reflect, challenge, and build alongside you.

Because real support doesn’t happen in reports or sessions alone,
it happens in the quiet, uncurated spaces of everyday life.

And that’s where we choose to work.
